Bi-Metal Hole Saw Kit for Metal, Wood, Plastic

The hole saw set includes a compact storage case with 6 saw blades in the following sizes: 3/4" (19mm), 7/8" (22mm), 1-1/8" (29mm), 1-1/2" (38mm), 1-3/4" (44mm), and 2" (51mm). The kit also comes with 1 x 7/16" hex mandrel, 1 x 1/4" mandrel, 2 x drill bits, and 1 x hex key.

Crafted from premium M42 steel with 8% cobalt, the M42 Bi-Metal drill hole saw kit ensures exceptional toughness and extended lifespan. The rock-solid wood hole saw kit blades feature a wide slot on each hole saw to effectively remove sawdust, swarf, and plugs.

The AV Steel bi-metal hole saw kit is a reliable and durable tool set suitable for making holes in a wide range of materials, including metal, hard wood, PVC board, plastic, cork boards, drywall, and plasterboard.

When drilling metal, it is recommended to use low speeds, with the speed decreasing as the diameter of the hole increases. It is also advisable to drill steel with coolant to prevent high tooth tip temperatures from cracking the cutting edge.

To prolong the lifespan of the hole saw, apply a light coating of anti-corrosion oil to the filter surface to prevent natural oxidation. Do not exceed a cutting depth of approximately 1-1/2" (38mm) with this tool.

The 7/16" hex arbor is applied to the 1-1/2" (38mm), 1-3/4" (44mm), and 2" (51mm) hole saw blades, while the 1/4" mandrel is used for the 3/4" (19mm), 7/8" (22mm), and 1-1/8" (29mm) hole saw blades.

It is important to note that this product is not suitable for making holes in concrete floors, glass, or ceramic tile.
